Terms of Service
Last updated: August 19, 2026
By using nslookup.net (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Acceptable use
You may use the Service only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:
- Use the Service to investigate or attack systems you do not own or have explicit authorization to test.
- Send automated requests at a rate that exceeds the published rate limits or that degrades the Service for other users.
- Attempt to circumvent rate limiting, CSRF protection, or other security controls.
- Use the Service to facilitate spam, phishing, or other malicious activities.
2. Passive queries only
The Service performs read-only, passive queries against public internet resources (DNS resolvers, WHOIS, public HTTPS endpoints). It does not perform active scanning, port scanning, or vulnerability probing on any host. Results reflect information that is publicly accessible.
3. No warranty
The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. DNS and network data is inherently dynamic and may not reflect the current state of the internet at any given moment. Do not rely solely on this Service for security-critical decisions.
4. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, nslookup.net is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
5. Rate limits
Each tool is subject to rate limits (per-minute and per-hour per IP). Exceeding these limits will result in temporary blocking. Persistent abuse may result in permanent IP-level blocking.
6. Changes to these terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. The "Last updated" date reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any changes.
